The Humane Society At Lakewood Ranch

The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill shelter in Manatee County, FL. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for companion animals in need until a loving and forever home can be found. All of our animals receive medical care, vaccinations, microchipping and a huge amount of love and attention from our dedicated staff and amazing volunteers. We do all of this with 100% private donation as we receive no government (e.g. State/County) or National organization funding. 

If you are interested in supporting the HSLWR, we have many ways in which you can help! Of course we have Dog and Kitty care, but we also have opportunities for Foster Parents, Events, Adoption Counselors, Outreach, Marketing, Animal Transport and much more. We love our Volunteers!

We are open for adoptions and to visit our animals during our Open Adoption Hours, Friday through Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
