Our Services
The University Animal Clinic is a full diagnostic medical and surgical care facility.  Our radiology, laboratory, ECG, and surgical equipment allow us to provide almost all diagnostic, surgical or treatment procedures that your pet may require.  With state of the art anesthetic delivery systems, we are able to anesthetize even aged, high risk, and exotic species with a very high degree of safety.  In an unusual event that your pet's condition requires an advanced diagnostic or surgical procedure by a board certified specialist (e.g. cataract surgery or hip replacement), we will directly refer and maintain close contact with the specialist and provide follow-up care with their consultation.

We will see just about any small animal.  We've performed surgery on everything from dogs, cats, goldfishes, bobcats, sugar gliders, pigs, mice, sharks, and many other various animals.  Birds, exotics, snakes, spiders, pocket pets, and many more special pets have been treated at University Animal Clinic.

Surgery and Dentistry
Routine surgeries and dental procedures need to be scheduled for admission early in the morning.  Prior to any procedure, it is a good idea to bath your pet the day before admission to reduce parasite and debris contamination.  All procedures requiring anesthesia will be completed mid-day with most pets scheduled to be released later that same day.

Full parameter advanced monitoring is used during any anesthetic procedure to ensure your pet's safety.  This includes a trained technician monitoring your pet before, during, and after the surgery.
