Dr. Leigh Samanowitz
Dr. Samanowitz earned a bachelors of science degree in zoology from the University of Florida before attending and graduating from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, she moved back to Florida with her husband Sam and their Sheepdog “Chloe” and cockatiel “Sunny”. Dr. Samanowitz has begun a veterinary student job program that has allowed her to mentor veterinary students across the country gain experience in the hospital setting prior to graduating. Dr. Samanowitz in her spare time loves to do triathlons and mud/obstacle runs, she is also an avid scrapbooker.
Dr. Alison Fink
Dr. Alison Fink was born and raised in Evanston, IL. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from North Park University in Chicago, IL. While in college, she worked as a veterinary technician at a veterinary emergency and specialty center in the Chicagoland area. Following her undergraduate studies, she moved to the island of Saint Kitts and Nevis, where she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Fink completed her clinical studies at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Her professional interests include internal medicine, cardiology, and dermatology. She enjoys being near/on the water, the beach, exploring the area and spending time with her three dogs; Baily and Lily, two coconut retrievers rescued while attending vet school on St. Kitts, and PD, a Chihuahua rescued while attending LSU.

I am originally from up North, NY City and Boston, and relocated to the Sarasota area 5 years ago. I have worked in the industry for 10+ years.
I joined the University Animal Clinic in 2015. My passion is knowing that we make a difference in peoples and their pets lives.
I live with my husband, Jim, of 25 years and my 4 legged kiddo, Patsy.
I was born and raised in Sarasota. I am married to a wonderful man and we have 2 small dogs, Nevaeh and Talon.
I enjoy my job and love seeing all the fur babies that visit our clinic.

I knew from a very early age I wanted to work in the medical field as well with animals, so I found a fulfilling career that puts me with the best of both worlds. I’m dedicated to the care and compassion to both pets and owners. I am the proud mama to my 4 rescued cats and my stubborn princess pit bull, Milly Moo.

My name is Sara, I am 26 years old. I was born in Spokane, WA and raised in Sarasota, Fl. I’ve been working with animals for 16 years, I have a Frenchie named Yeti, and a rescued mix named Phiya. I spend my free time on my farm with my fur babies and horses.

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I was born and raised in NY long island. I relocated to Florida in the beginning of 2016. I started my own dog walking business back in 2006 and have kept growing to doggie daycares and pet sitting. I have worked in the formal doggie daycare since 2010. I love working with animals and am so glad that I took the step to join the veterinary field. I can’t wait to meet your baby and help you take the best care possible.
